John called the meeting to order.
Pledge was recited.
Open form for citizen comments, Brian Doyle and Jonie Pawelk from the
Bob Esse asked the board if trees could be planted in memory of certain people who passed away if donated and placed on the township hall grounds by a landscaper. Board stated that this idea could be promoted and further study would be done and would get back to Bob.

Clerks report- Doug made a motion to accept the clerks report and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.
Disbursements- Russell made a motion to accept the disbursements and Steve seconded all in favor motion carried.
Audit of claims- Ck # 10314 Public Emp. Ins. $623.20, Ck # 10311 Tow master $58.64, Ck # 10306 Hogland Transportation $160.05 Motion by Doug to accept the audit of claims and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.
Treasurers report- Received a final settlement of $17,249.01
Revenue $154,849.15, Road and Bridge $349,107.91 for a total of $503,957.06.
Fire fund $17,643.01, Building $388.08, Capital Imp. $136,385.75, Contingency $35,546.66, Playground $1,000.24 Checking $378.58, Checks out $2,762.52. Motion by Steve to accept the treasurers report and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.
Quotes for gravel hauling- Motion by Russell to accept the quotes presented and Doug seconded all in favor motion carried. After reviewing the quotes the board tabled till the March meeting to define the hours of operation Steve to work will Brian.
Applications for Par-time employment reviewed , board decided to let Brian chose a person from the list of applications to be on call for when he is on vacation in March.
Board reviewed the quotes for a new tractor Scharbers $25,786 with mower $28,761 and freight to ship to have mower attached $375.00, Mies $ 37,032.00 with mower Russell made a motion to order the tractor from Scharber and Heath seconded all in favor but Steve (no) motion carried.
John gave a up date on the 20/20 line project, no final decision as yet.
Brian Doyle gave information to the board on the committee that is being formed to give options to the hospital to remain in the district, this searching for information and any conclusions could take more then a year. Doug and John voiced their concerns that there is not more public information on this. Brian stated he could not guess or state the outcome to this committees recommendations. Board thanked Brian for attending.
Employee hand book- Doug stated that some wording is yet to be worked out and that this will again be presented to Ronda Pagel the lawyer working on the manual.
Board asked the clerk to contact Dean Johnson to come to the April Meeting.
Maintenance report-Worked with Fobe well men on the new well, been trying to keep up with icy roads by sanding and scraping. Attended a class at Scharbers with Min Dot on Laws and Regulations, safety. Plowed snow. And cleaned up snow drifts.
Motion by Heath to accept the maintenance report and seconded by Steve all in favor motion carried.
