Regular Supervisor Meeting

In attendance for the supervisors, John Jones, Heath Gillham, Jim Kloster, Russell Nelson, Steve Langanki, Clerk Sandy Forsman, Treasurer Lenore Johnson, Maintenance Brian Opatz.

 

John called the meeting to order.

 

Pledge was recited.

 

Open Form – None

 

Approval of the agenda- Russell made a motion to approve the agenda with any additions and Jim seconded all in favor motion carried.

 

Resolution to approve payment to John Gillham for borrowed soil on 127th from construction of road, settlement read in full by John and resolution approved by motion of John and seconded by Russell all in favor motion carried. Heath not in attendance.

 

Minutes of December 16th, 2008- Motion to approve by Jim and seconded by Russell all in favor motion carried.

 

Clerks report-Motion by Jim to approve the clerks report and seconded by Steve all in favor motion carried.

 

Disbursements- Motion by Steve to approve the disbursements and seconded by Jim all

In favor motion carried.

 

 

Audit of claims- Ck # 6778 The Plumery for $ 205.65, Ck # 6787 Innovation Processing $307.37, Ck # 6783 West Central Sanitation $3,160.00. Motion to accept the audit of claims by Russell and seconded by Steve all in favor motion carried.

 

Treasurers report- ACH deposit $23,565.40

Russell made a motion to accept the treasurers report and Steve seconded all in favor motion carried.

 

Ken Yager- Ken gave the board a update as to the Green Acre review question and who is no longer qualified and how the equine owners are lobbying to have the new green acre bill changed. There had been 8 home sales from October 07 to September 08.

Board thanked Ken for the update.

 

Letter from the township Lawyer on the present ordinances and cost to make these ordinances enforceable. Board took no action at this time and tabled.

 

Letter from community growth on available help from the University of Minn. For townships interested in various topics to increase there knowledge of growth and other           

Information that increases the workings of a growing community. No action at this time.

 

Maintenance report- Snow plowing and sanding as needed. Had a accident with plow when plowing snow hit some rocks and bent plow. Hauled to little falls machine for repair. Will submit to township insurance for reimbursement. The township does not quality for federal funding from a letter received from Wright County Hwy Dept for projects in our township. Motion to approve maintenance report by Jim and seconded by Heath all in favor motion carried.
