Regular meeting of the Silver Creek Planning and Zoning Board

The meeting was called to order by chairman Johann Massman of the Planning and Zoning Board.
In attendance for the planning board Johann Massmann, Bill Langenbacher, Mary Hill, Amy Forsythe, Dan Ness.
In attendance for the supervisor board, John Jones, Heath gillham Russell Nelson. Clerk Sandy Forsman.
Review of the minutes of
Viet Company was called to renew there CUP on the Darryle Anderson property for mining approximately 600,000 yards of clay.
A representative for Viet appeared to answer any questions. Russell asked about chloride the road and keeping the entrance road watered. Response was this will be done.
Bill asked about hours of operation and days of the week with no continuous Saturdays.

Bill made a motion to approve the CUP as follows to keep the
hours of operation from
Tom Salkowski letter to the board concerning the Robert Gruys CUP (Midwest Auto). Mr. Gruys appeared before the County to renew his permit, neighbors of his business presented the county board with a petition from 25 residents to not have Mr. Gruys CUP renewed.
Two Neighbors Krista Schmidt & Matthew Stotko 11227 Ellingwood appeared before the boards to state there complaints on Mr. Gruys business.. Bill stated that the board had no idea that there were problems and concerns by the neighbors. No one came to the board meetings or call the hall with complaints. Bill made a motion to inform Mr. Gruys by letter that in light of the new evidence that a review of the earlier recommendation by the board will be done at the May 11th, 2010 P&Z meeting and ask him to attend, this was seconded by Amy all in favor motion carried 4 to 0.
Krista Schmidt asked the board to do a site inspection on a modular home that had burnt last fall, it was felt that this was a hazard and would like the board to see if something can be done about this burnt home being removed. Dan made a motion to have this site inspection and Amy seconded all in favor motion carried.
Mary made a report on the new business in Silver creek of a
mushroom farm business on
Johann presented to the board a article on the proposed power line in Sherburne county to be read.
Motion to adjourn by Mary and seconded by Amy all in favor motion carried.
