Planning and Zoning

In attendance for the planning board, Johann Massmann Bill Langenbacher, Mary Hill Dan Ness Amy Forsythe, Supervisor board John Jones, Heath Gillham Steve Langanki Russell Nelson Doug Schneider absent.
Clerk Sandy Forsman in attendance.
Johann called to meeting to order.
Review and approval of the June minutes, Mary made a motion to accept the minutes as written Dan seconded all in favor motion carried 5to 0.
Jerry Foley was called, Mr. Foley was not in attendance, Johann stated that John has been talking to Jerry about his compliance with the impound lot location. Johann stated that the impound lot was just one of a number of issues that the board wished to question Mr. Foley on. Bill made a suggestion that the clerk send Mr. Foley a letter asking him to attend the August 9th P&Z meeting on his compliance for his conditional use permit and if he chooses to not attend that the board send to Wright County a recommendation to have Mr. Foleys Conditional use permit reviewed. Clerk will send a letter.
Supervisor board reviewed with the planning board the Planning and Zoning Manual, one was that the chairman be voted on at the January meeting the same as the Supervisor board, second number 206 that the Chairman of the planning board vote on all issues, third Bill made a motion that the Planning and Zoning name be changed to the Planning Commission. Mary seconded the motion on these three changes all in favor motion carried 5 to 0.
Mary made a motion since the Primary election is being held
on the normal second Tuesday of the month of Planning and Zoning that the date
of the August meeting be on the 9th at
Bill spoke on the seminar that he and John attended with attorneys presenting legal issues for Townships, he stated he and John found it very informative. John presented a note book with information on this seminar for those that wish to read it.
Motion by Dan to Adjourn and seconded by Bill all in favor motion carried.
