Planning & Zoning Meeting

May 8th, 2007

The meeting was called to order by chairman Steve Duncan in attendance for Planning and Zoning, Steve Duncan, Steve Langanki, Ralph Uecker, supervisor board, Heath Gillham, Alfred Shenton, Russell Nelson. Clerk Sandy Forsman.

 

 

Review of the minutes of April 10th, 2007. Motion by Steve L. to accept the minutes as written and seconded by Ralph all in favor motion carried.

 

Steve Trueman reappeared before the board on the placement of a tower on the Dwayne Hickman property 13002 Ferman Ave. Mr. Trueman gave a presentation of the placement of the tower and explained that not all towers are compatible to the various cell companies. The placement of the tower by a lake brought discussion by both boards on the residents on the lake reaction to its placement. Ralph made a motion to deny the permit because of the location being  to close to the lake residents . Steve L. Seconded all in favor motion carried.

Supervisor board- Alfred made a motion to accept the recommendation of the planning and zoning board and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.

 

John Holthaus from Coldwell Baker appeared before the board to ask for a conditional use permit to divide a 19.36 parcel located at 5745-140th St. N.W. to a five acre parcel with the house and a 14.36 parcel. The land is zoned R-2A.

Steve made a motion to grant the conditional use permit to divide the property into two parcels of five acres and 14.36 acres, Ralph seconded all in favor motion carried.

Supervisor board- Alfred made a motion to accept the recommendation of the planning and zoning board and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.

 

Board reviewed the new sketch plan dated 4/29/07 of pine city Developers on the Lock Lake proposed development to have the exit road on county road #8 and to have the dead ends connected Letter to the county to state approval to be sent by the clerk. Steve L. made a motion to do so and Ralph seconded all in favor motion carried.

Supervisor board- Alfred made a motion to accept the recommendation of the planning and zoning board and Russell seconded all in favor motion carried.

 

Motion to adjourn by Steve L. and seconded by Ralph all in favor motion carried.
