JIM KLOSTER, JOHN JONES, ALFRED SHENTON, RUSSELL NELSON, HEATH GILLHAM CLERK

JIM CALLED THE MEETING TO ORDER.
APPROVAL OF APRIL
11TH, 2006 MINUTES, MOTION BY RALPH TO APPROVE AS
WRITTEN AND SECONDED BY KEVIN ALL IN FAVOR MOTION CARRIED.
CALL FOR BUD VANDERGON, NOT PRESENT.
BILL LYRENMANN- WOULD LIKE TO PUT ON AN ADDITION, SET BACK
ISSUES DISCUSSED. POSSIBLE EXPANSION TO BE TO ADD TO HEIGHT
OF BUILDING. AFTER DISCUSSION BOARD SUGGESTED TO BILL TO COME BACK IN
JUNE WITH A PLAN DRAWING IN CONSIDERATION OF THE WILD AND SCENIC ACT. BILL ALSO
ASKED IF THE BOARD WOULD LOOK INTO THE RECORDING OF THE ROAD CHANGE, (FREEMONT HEIGHTS) HE HAD VISITED THE COURT HOUSE
AND FOUND THAT THIS HAD NOT BEEN RECORDED. JIM STATED THAT THIS WILL BE ADDED
TO THE MAY REGULAR MEETING AGENDA TO SEE HOW THIS WAS HANDLED.
GLORIA AND JOHN GILLHAM- REQUEST TO REZONE 15 ACRES FROM AGI
TO AGI- RES. WITH A CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT TO ALLOW A DIVISION OF THAT PART OF
THE FARM LYING EAST OF THE ROAD FROM THE REST OF THE FARM, RALPH MADE A MOTION
TO ALLOW THE REZONING OF THE 15 ACRES AND TO ALLOW THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
AS A RESIDENTIAL BUILDING SITE, KEVIN SECONDED ALL IN FAVOR MOTION CARRIED.
SUPERVISOR BOARD- ALFRED MADE A MOTION TO ACCEPT THE
RECOMMENDATION OF THE PLANNING AND ZONING BOARD AND RUSSELL SECONDED ALL IN
FAVOR MOTION CARRIED HEATH ABSTAINED.
JERRY FOLEY NORTHERN RV- MR. FOLEY APPEARED AND STATED THAT
HE HAD NO FURTHER INTEREST IN THE PROPERTY.

BUSINESS, MR. KLOSTER STATED IF IT WAS ALRIGHT THAT THIS BE A AGENDA ITEM AT
THE REGULAR BOARD MEETING, MR. HUTCHINGS STATED YES.
BUDDHIST TEMPLE-
JIM KLOSTER- JIM SPOKE OF THE MEETING AT THE COUNTY WITH THE BUDDHIST TEMPLE REPRESENTATIVES
AND TOM SALKOWSKI. JIM PRESENTED TO THE BOARD A SITE PLAN PROPOSED BY THE
BUDDHIST CONCERNING THE NEW BAND SHELL, ASSEMBLY HALL, GARDENS AND OTHER
BUILDINGS PLUS A VOLLEY BALL COURT.
JIM STATED THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT WAS TO BE INTERPRETED AS WOULD ANY
CHURCH, WITH A CONSIDERATION OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD. A MOTION BY
RALPH FOR THE FOLLOWING RECOMMENDATIONS CONCERNING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT
ARE AS (1.) THAT FOUR VOLLEY BALL COURTS BE ALLOWED WITH A PLAY GROUND
AREA BUT NO OUTSIDE LIGHTING. (2.) TO ALLOW A MEDITATION GAZEBO. (3) TO ALLOW A
BAND SHELL WITH SIDES FACING THE FREEWAY WITH AN OUTDOOR PICNIC AREA WITH NO
OUTSIDE LIGHTING. (4) A FLOWER GARDEN ALSO A GAZEBO WITH A SHRINE. (5) THAT
THREE SPECIAL EVENTS BE ALLOWED A YEAR WITH ABOUT 1000 PEOPLE, THIS IS A NEW
YEARS EVENT, AND TWO SUMMER EVENTS. (6) HOURS FOR THESE EVENTS 9 A.M. TO 9 P.M.. (7) A PROPOSED ASSEMBLY HALL. (8) NO LIQUOR SALES WITH OUT
A SPECIAL LICENSE AND ONLY FOR THAT SPECIFIC EVENT. (9) ALL OTHER NORMAL ACTIVES LIMITED TO 300 PEOPLE. (10) ONLY 8 MONKS
IN RESIDENCE. KEVIN SECONDED ALL IN FAVOR MOTION CARRIED.
