An ordinance prohibiting dogs running at large and prohibiting vicious dogs has been passed by the Silver Creek Town Board.  Any person, firm or corporation violating any of the provisions of this ordinance shall be guilty of a misdemeanor and upon conviction thereof shall be punished by a fine not to exceed seven hundred dollars ($700.00) and/or by imprisonment not to exceed ninety (90) days or both.

There is an ordinance regulating parking on Township roads.  The purpose of this ordinance is to regulate parking on Township roads and Township right-of-ways during winter months in order to expedite the removal of snow and ice from the Township roads.  This "No Parking" ordinance is in effect from November 1 until April 1.  No Parking is allowed on Township roads during this time.  Vehicles will be towed without additional notice.

Please do not plant or place things in the Township right-of-way area.  The right-of-way area is usually 33 feet from the center of the road.  This also includes agricultural land; some crops can reduce visibility, and fill in the ditches, which may cause a need for ditch repair in the future.  We do encourage you to mow the right-of-way areas.  If you have any questions, please call.  We will be happy to meet with you.

A well-maintained Township road.
