There
will be two Supervisor positions open in the November
2010 election. Filing dates for these positions
are August 3 to August 17, 2010. You can
file between the hours of 1 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday
through Wednesday, and between the hours of 9 a.m.
to noon on Saturday. The Township office will be
open on August 17 until 5 p.m. for filing.

Representing Silver Creek Township is County Commissioner Rose Thelen:
Commissioner Thelen was first
elected to the County Board in 2009. Her term will expire December
31, 2012. She lives in Clearwater Township.
Commissioner Thelen
serves on the following County Committees: Budget Committee Of The
Whole, Capital Improvement/Finance, Civil Defense, Deferred
Compensation, Detention Facilities, EMS Joint Powers Board
(Regional), Technology, and
Wright County
Community Action Council. Commissioner Thelen is also a
Delegate to the
Association of Minnesota Counties.
District 1 includes: Annandale City, Buffalo City Precincts #1
& #2, Chatham Township, Clearwater City and Township, Corinna
Township, Maple Lake Township, and Silver Creek Township.
