| Commissioner Thelen was first
elected to the County Board in 2009. Her term will expire December
31, 2012. She lives in Clearwater Township. Commissioner Thelen serves on the following County Committees: Budget Committee Of The Whole, Capital Improvement/Finance, Civil Defense, Deferred Compensation, Detention Facilities, EMS Joint Powers Board (Regional), Technology, and Wright County Community Action Council. Commissioner Thelen is also a Delegate to the Association of Minnesota Counties. She also serves on the Clearwater Watershed District Board, M.E.A.D.A. (Meth Education Drug Awareness), and Safe Communities of Wright County. District 1 includes: Annandale City, Buffalo City Precincts #1 & #2, Chatham Township, Clearwater City and Township, Corinna Township, Maple Lake Township, and Silver Creek Township.
