The March 10th, 2009
election results are as follows: For Seat #2,
Heath Gillham won over Johann Massman with 69 votes to
34, thereby keeping his seat. For Seat #3,
Doug Schneider received 95 votes. The issue of moving
the March election to November received 90 yes votes to
15 no. That means that the next township election will
be November 9th 2010. That gives those supervisors
up for election an 8 month extension before they
are up for re-election. The
Annual Meeting will still be held in March.

Representing Silver Creek Township is County Commissioner Rose Thelen:
Commissioner Thelen was first
elected to the County Board in 2009. Her term will expire December
31, 2012. She lives in Clearwater Township.
Commissioner Thelen
serves on the following County Committees: Budget Committee Of The
Whole, Capital Improvement/Finance, Civil Defense, Deferred
Compensation, Detention Facilities, EMS Joint Powers Board
(Regional), Technology, and
Wright County
Community Action Council. Commissioner Thelen is also a
Delegate to the
Association of Minnesota Counties.
District 1 includes: Annandale City, Buffalo City Precincts #1
& #2, Chatham Township, Clearwater City and Township, Corinna
Township, Maple Lake Township, and Silver Creek Township.
